Getting Here and Around
Just two hours from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, the South Burnett makes for an easy weekend getaway, or even a day trip.
Coming from Brisbane, travel along the D’Aguliar Highway via Kilcoy or the Brisbane Valley Highway via Esk to Blackbutt, Yarraman and Nanango, or travel along the Bruce and Wide Bay Highways via Gympie and Kilkivan.
From the Sunshine Coast and the Fraser Coast, travel along the Bruce Highway and take the Wide Bay Highway turn-off to Kilkivan, which is 13 kilometres north of Gympie.
From Toowoomba, travel along the Country Way (New England highway) through Cooyar and Yarraman, or via The Great Bunya Drive (Warrego and Bunya Highways) through Dalby and Bell to Kingaroy.
