Bridgeman Downs Cellars is an award winning winery located 14 kilometres south-east of Murgon. The property and vineyards established in 1996 overlook Lake Barambah and the Bjelke-Peterson Dam. The principle grape varieties are shiraz, cabernet, sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay and verdelho.
Bridgeman Downs is a charming boutique vineyard with colonial-styled homestead and cellar door, acres of rolling lawns and gardens complete with antique barn and stables. The cellar door is open 10.00am to 4.00pm Thursdays to Mondays where you can enjoy platters of local cheeses, tea and coffee.

Captain's Paddock is named after the our horse 'Captain Jack', affectionately known as 'Captain'. Captain was 38 years old when he passed away in October 2004. He roamed the vineyard at will, not a care in the world. The latest addition to the vineyard is 'Merlot', a red kelpie. She will greet you on arrival and try to go home with you on departure. Merlot is the only Queensland dog in the publication Wine Dogs, you can purchase the book with Merlot's autograph and email address.
Your hosts Maryanne and Peter purchased the property in April 2002. Our ""tree"" change.
The vineyard and buildings were built by the McCallum family. Don and Judy have created a wonderful property dotted with many unusual but practicable objects built by their son Stuart.
Captain's Paddock is located 8km north of Kingaroy, Queensland in the South Burnett Region. The property consists of 10 acres of grape vines (13km) planted in 1995, a cafe and a cottage. The cottage is available for overnight stays, breakfast included.

Roderick's Vineyard is one of the oldest wineries in the Redgate/Moffatdale area and have been producing unique wine for 12 years. Located in the small area of Redgate near Murgon in the South Burnett region of QLD only 2.5 hours from Brisbane.
With a vast range of fourteen wines, both reds and whites, six tantalising liqueurs, one excellent barrel port and two 100% natural (non alcoholic) grape juices, Roderick's Vineyard have something to please every taste.
From vine to bottle, everything is produced on the property were tours of the fully equipped winery shed with a thorough description of the wine making process by our winemaker can be arranged by appointment.
